As so often happens when one responds to the inner restlessness
to be of greater service to the world – the world takes you
up on your offer. In Gail’s case, becoming a Reiki Master
and an Ordained Interfaith Minister were “the door openers”
for what later became years of extensive study in the Healing Arts
of multiple modalities.
Over the years Gail has studied the work of a number of teachers
whose work is based in native traditions, including Shaman Willaru
Huayta of Peru and Mauricio Panniset of Brazil. Closer to home,
she has grounded her work with the Native American teachings of
Oh Shinnah Fast Wolf, a Warrior Woman and Champion of “Journey
of the Waters” – a spiritual sojourn to ancient healing
waters covering more than 400 miles of land across New Mexico and
Colorado. Gail has recently been honored by being invited to be
an Apprentice of this tradition. This is a complement to her primary
studies with Lorraine Simone, also known as Deep Arrow Woman and
Oh Shinnah Fast Wolf’s designated lineage holder and Founder
of the Women’s Ways Mystery School and Moonfire Meeting House.

All of the above continues to provide, a foundation for Gail’s
personal Transitional Healing work. Particularly as most native
cultural traditions view the person as more than just the physical
body and death not as an end - but the beginning of the next phase
of the soul’s journey.
Bringing these traditions and her personal work forward into the
community, Gail has worked with the Westchester Medical Center’s
Burn Unit, along with cancer patients at both Northern Westchester
Medical Center and Putnam Hospital. She has also been affiliated
with Dr. Michael Finkelstein and The Center for Health and Healing
in Mt. Kisco, N.Y.
While her private practice is located in South Salem, N.Y., she
is also currently working as a Healing Arts Consultant with Hospice
throughout the Westchester and Putnam area.
